Holi, a popular and ancient festival of India, is celebrated in honor of Hindu god Vishnu and his devotee Prahlada. Holi celebrations began on the night before with a Holika Dahan, where people gather, perform religious rituals in front of the bonfire. The next morning is celebrated with colors, where people smear and drench each other with colors and water.
